Do you have a room to spare for your clothes? Then you are a blessed person and you can go wild with all your ideas. How we would go about this? Fill the room with the appropriate cabinets, a makeup table, chair and possibly a bench - ideal for preparing your clothes for the next day.

How do you furnish a walk-in closet? - part 2

Don't have an extra space in your home to sacrifice for a walk-in closet? No problem. You can also create a walk-in closet in your bedroom. Place the closet in your room in such a way that it creates a dividing wall, so to speak. Keep a space of about 70cm free for the walk-in closet. Is your bedroom too small, but would still like a walk-in closet? If so, have you thought about a walk-in closet in your hallway? This is often a place we forget about, but can function perfectly well as a walk-in closet. Often it is a narrow space with no obvious function. You can choose to sacrifice a wall of the hallway for one or more closets that you can use for your clothes. Hang a big mirror there, put a nice rug on the floor and you're ready to go!

Specific storage solutions

There are obviously several options when it comes to choosing the perfect cabinets for your walk-in closet. Our advice is to first look at the particular room where the cabinets will be located. Is it in a room that also has another function, such as a bedroom or hallway? Then choose a closed closet. Do you have a room for your cabinets? Then you can also choose an open cabinet, i.e. without doors. The contents can then be seen, because that is what the room is for. Make sure that your closet is equipped with various storage options, such as shelves, a hanging section and drawers. Tip! Measure the spaces so you can buy storage bins to size, this way you not only make the best use of the space, but it also looks organized.
